• Confirmation will be sent upon booking, except for last-minute reservations made within two days of travel, which will receive confirmation within 48 hours, depending on availability.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 6 days before the tour for a full refund. To qualify for a full refund, you must cancel at least 6 full days in advance. If you cancel between 2 to 6 full days before the start time, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 2 full days in advance will not be refunded. Changes made within this time frame are also not accepted. All cut-off times are based on local experience time.

Itineraries

Day 1

Munich - Herrenchiemsee - Innsbruck

 

1. Schloss Herrenchiemsee
   Your adventure begins as you meet your tour director at your hotel or chosen location in Munich. From there, you’ll travel to Lake Chiemsee and take a boat to Herrenchiemsee Island, home to Ludwig II’s grandest castle. Enjoy a guided tour of the palace and the Ludwig museum. Afterward, continue your journey into Austria, following the beautiful Inn Valley to Innsbruck.

2. Innsbruck
   Explore Innsbruck, the charming capital of Tyrol. Stroll through its quaint medieval streets, admire the iconic Golden Roof against the backdrop of the Karwendel Mountains, and visit the impressive Baroque Church and Hofburg, built by Empress Maria Theresia. You’ll also have time to wander the town on your own, with the option to shop for some Swarovski crystals.

Day 2

Innsbruck - Oberammergau - Linderhof Palace - Füssen

 

1. Oberammergau
   Start your day with more photo opportunities in Innsbruck before heading back to Germany. Visit the picturesque village of Oberammergau, known for its historic Passion Play that began in 1634 and its renowned wood carvings and house paintings.
   Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes | Admission: Free

2. Schloss Linderhof
   Next, visit Linderhof Palace, where Ludwig II resided for over eight years. Take your time to explore the formal gardens, Moorish Kiosk, and the famous Venus Grotto (currently closed for maintenance until 2023). After your visit, continue on to Füssen, where your hotel awaits.

Day 3

Neuschwanstein Castle - Wieskirche - Munich

 

1. Schloss Neuschwanstein
   After breakfast, we head to Füssen to visit the fairy-tale Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany’s most popular castle. First, we’ll take a shuttle to Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) for breathtaking views and photo opportunities (as long as the shuttle is running and the bridge is open). Then, we’ll walk to the castle, which inspired Disney's iconic castle. After your visit, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride back to Hohenschwangau village.

2. Pilgrimage Church of Wies
   Before concluding your delightful tour, we’ll visit the famous Wieskirche, also known as the Church in the Meadow. This church is one of southern Germany’s most significant pilgrimage sites. Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in Munich.
